Overview
This Wiki provides documentation for the APBS continuum solvation and electrostatics and PDB2PQR software packages. This is not the main download site for either package; APBS can be downloaded from http://www.poissonboltzmann.org/apbs and PDB2PQR can be downloaded or accessed from http://www.poissonboltzmann.org/pdb2pqr.
The documentation on this site is divided into a few categories:
- Production documentation is the main "official" documentation for APBS and PDB2PQR. This should be the first place you look for information about the software.
- Nascent documentation is currently under construction and includes a to-do list; we welcome help with documentation development.
- Workshops and courses are collections of material intended for use in a classroom setting.
- Third-party contributions contains links to external material related to APBS and PDB2PQR.
The development of APBS and PDB2PQR has been supported by the National Institutes of Health (funding via grant GM069702), the National Biomedical Computation Resource (computer resources and deployment), the Washington University School of Medicine (funding), and the National Partnership for Advanced Computational Infrastructure (funding and computer resources). Note that both APBS and PDB2PQR have been developed in collaboration with several groups; a full list of APBS contributors is available here and a full list of PDB2PQR contributions is available here.
